What do you like besides homebrew

In the interest of friendly banter, what are you hobbies or other interests?

Mine are, paranormal investigations, whitewater kayaking, snow skiing, hunting(got a 6 point the other day), cooking out on the grill/smoker.

Forgot to add that I spend a fair amount of time in the garden too, coming up on third year hops.

Gardening/Landscaping in the spring & summer.
Catching up on some reading and camping in the summer - though we didn’t get out much this year (babies and campfires don’t mix well)
Fall - taxi the oldest around to her various organized activities (its not what I want/like to do, but I don’t seem to have time for much else)
Fall/Winter - PC gaming or catching up on some reading at night, playing with the kids any chance I get (especially outside)

Shooing-reloading,more of a target shooter; hunting (took my youngest grandson out sat morn and he got his first -a 6 point);
Building model aircraft and I’m not that good at it; playin music-played guitar for 37 years- but I dont play much anymore…
That’s about it for me.

Hunting, fishing, sportbikes, snowmobiling, cooking. So little time…

My other hobbies are wine making, cooking at a gourmet level, collecting Swiss automatic movement dive watches and tinkering with their inward movements. I had a new fetish but have pretty well nipped that in the bud but I was starting to acquire quite a few Japanese chef knives. I have bought the equivalent of 4-5 complete sets of chef knives in the past 2-3 years. Normally though the first thing I would of stated was Jeeps but I am currently Jeep-less and am not going to look for another for a while.

Women!    Guitars and hockey are cool too I guess

UKULELE!!!

Playing/recording music (I’m a guitar player), cooking/BBQ, reading, sailing (A-class catamarans).

Hiking and backpacking mostly. I also currently run about 26-30 miles a week. Artist by profession (well, graphic designer technically but I went to art school and do a lot of illustration). I play guitar sporadically and read regularly. I live to cook too (“live” is not a typo  ;)).

my dogs - got a labrador and an aussie/border collie mix (both rescues) - I just love hanging with them, taking to the park, etc.

love cooking, read a bit (used to be a bookworm, now am trying to get back into it - damn modern society inducing me towards ADD), Crossfit and running.

Work, so I can afford the homebrew.  ;D  Actually I enjoy fishing, walking (it would be called hiking where majorvices lives but we just call it walking here ;)), gardening and most importantly, spending as much time as possible with the family.

LOL! I think you would find the terrain behind my house surprisingly challenging even though it barely tops out at 2000 ft. Or maybe not.  8)

Ha I bet you’re right.  We’re at about 2,200 ft. and rolling hills, not mountains…  That’s why we call it walking I guess…  ;D

I have found that it is not so much the elevation but the rate of ascent.

Here ya there!!!  We used to live in Colorado Springs.  Hiked Pikes Peak once.  ONCE!  I was 20 years younger then.  Do miss the mountain hikes though!!!

Hockey, cooking, Travel

How could I have forgotten hockey??!! :o
Watching hockey (I have no equipment & beer leagues around here are pretty rough), watching football and gambling on football (& occasionally hockey).

Cooking/BBQ, sailing, deep-sea fishing

Bass guitar and professional pyrotechnics/ fireworks.

Nothin’ as good beer, bass and boom booms!

So much to do, so little time to get it all in.
Jobs are a pain.

In summer, I crave the wilderness,
nothing quite like putting all you need on your back
and heading out into areas with little to no people.

I have animals, and they take up a lot of my time.

I love to grow plants, garden and flowers mostly.
I spend a lot of time irrigating.

Ski all winter, free heel trecking mostly,
dogs almost always go.

Cutting wood and stacking against the winter.

Cheers.
