Ask the Experts - John Palmer

We’re ready to kick off the “Ask the Experts” section of the AHA website with John Palmer!  We’re excited and honored to have John be our first guest expert.  If you’d like to ask him a question, please email it to AskTheExperts@brewersassociation.org . The deadline for submitting questions 10/24/2010.  You can get more info about “Ask the Experts” at http://www.homebrewersassociation.org/pages/community/news/show?title=ask-the-experts-new-aha-members-only-content .

Does the picture of John on the intro page look ok?  When I went there it looks like it’s a 16 color rendition (not too good).

John is rendered in only 16 colors in real life.

Looks like a John Palmer cartoon character.

A face for radio?  That’s the only place I’VE seen him.  ;)

When I saw that pic, I definitely went “Hmmmmm”…

Is there a specific topic that John will be discussing or is this one open ended (within reason, I don’t want to know about his love life or anything like that ;D)?

John says he’d like to talk about the brewing process.  That’s a lot of territory for questions!

Gosh durn it. Where’s my credit card…?

If I met John in real life I’d ask him if he’d like a beer.

I’d like to taste the man’s beer dammit! Just joined!

You know, I’ve known John for a number of years… had lunch during the week with him for quite a while. I’ve had one of his beers. Here’s the question inquiring minds want to know - is he really a brewer or does he just pretend to be for the glory and filthy lucre!

(and for the record, the one beer I had was awesome)

You know, now that you mention it . . . he’s always up for trying beers at NHC, but he’s never brought one of his own that I can remember . . .

No brewing for me  :(  I’ve got all my carboy’s full.  This can only mean one thing…massive bottling fest! Followed by the dreaded cleaning of everything.  Oh well it’s gotta be done.

The question time for John Palmer is now closed.  Questions and answers will be posted on the AHA website next week sometime.  Our next guest expert will be Randy Mosher.  Randy will cover recipe formulation,  so start thinking of questions!  I’ll make a post when it’s time to start sending them in.
