Does anyone know of a supplier for a ball lock quick connect cover or cap? I want to put a cap on my quick connects for storage and transportation.
Have you considered 3D printing them ?
I have not. I think our library has one and I will see if I can make them there. Thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks to Dwain’s idea, I found a number of 3D print codes that create caps for the top of the quick disconnects. For example, numbered caps to organize a multi-line keezer. What I am looking for is a cap to cover the open bottom of the disconnect. Specifically, I want to keep dust, dirt, etc. out of a disconnect when it is stored or being transported for use with my jockey box.
And 3D printer gurus out there?
Is this what you’re looking for?
I think he’s looking for something that would cover the other half of the connection. The open bottom of the qd on the hose.
It’s low tech, but you could just grab a sandwich bag and use a rubber band to hold it on.
You also might be able to scare up some Caplugs. They come in various sizes. I bought an assortment of them from Harbor Freight.
Yes, the other half. Covering the post would be a great idea as well when I am carrying my kegs in the back of my truck.
I will check out Harbor Freight. Thanks!
I use old qds. Keeps the posts clean and oring lubed.
Thanks. Not familiar with “qds”.
Sorry. Ball lock Quick Disconnects
Spike Brewing. They come with my TC components, though I’m not sure if they sell them.
Thanks Joe. I will reach out to Spike. To be clear, I’m talking about caps the would fit over and protect the quick disconnect on a conical accessory such as their Oxygenation kit. I’m not looking for a cap for the ball lock post.
