Ok, this is news to me - A Belgian brewer sending its beer 3 km from the brewery to its bottling plant via a 6,000 liter/hour pipeline :

I thought this comment after the article was interesting:
“I was hoping that news was about pipelines from local brewery to apartments in Bruges. We have this already in Pilsen and Prag(Czech Rep.)”
A pipeline form the brewery to your apartment? That would have been cool in my younger days.

How would they keep it clean and sanitized? Steam?
Yeah, I’m trying to picture that too. And at that flow rate, it seems like there’s potential for a lot of beer spraying everywhere before a valve gets closed. But I’ll give Belgium the benefit of the doubt - they do beer pretty well.
Yeah, I missed that first time. That could’ve been trouble in my 20s or the greatest time ever. Probably some of both !
