Best brewery ion every state according to BA ratings

I always thought Yellow Hammer had good brewery ions.

PS. Good job. Well deserved.

Interesting.  The best brewery in Wisconsin no longer exists, hasn’t for 2 years.  Stupid $h*t.

Well apparently they have the best BA scores for some reason. we have known our BA scores were highest in AL for some time. Nice to be recognized officially.

Minnesota is absolutly wrong.  I have never even heard of the damn brewery they “chose”.

Another one where they have like only 50 ratings total and have been closed for like 4 years.  ::slight_smile:

Glad to have angered at least 2 of you. lol

Not angry, just being dorky.  ;D

I’ve never even heard of the IL or WI breweries. But at least I now know where Alabama is. Public school kid, donchaknow.

Good on ya Yellowhammer!

Congrats, Keith!

Awesome work, Keith. Congrats!

I posted this partly as a joke. I have always been vocally anti-Beer Advocate (even though the one that get’s the most of my ire is Untappd). I have been getting a lot of sh!t about it from friends.

Of course this is the first time I have ever agreed with a BA ranking.  :stuck_out_tongue:

Congrats Keith.

Good-GAWD…Candia Road in NH!!  I’d choose Smuttynose and even Redhook over them.  For NH, I would probably go with Stoneface Brewing or Great Rhythm…and of course my hometown brewery Kelsen’s…great beer and even better labels

Congrats Keith. I also gave up on untapped. Decided I really did not want to advertise where I was or what I was drinking. One more sign we’re a little older than their target market

I use Untappd for the entertainment value.  Subconsciously I probably also figure that somebody needs to provide meaningful data.  BeerAdvocate and even RateBeer, I don’t provide content but occasionally I do use them for information.  As with anything, some sources are better than others.

I’ve never been to Alabama, but if I do ever make it out there, you can bet I’ll certainly seek out your place Keith.

I had never heard of the Colorado one until my brother moved to Glenwood Springs about a year ago. Apparently this place is open like one Saturday out of the month…

People just love whalez and dead stuff…

BA data is notoriously awful so no surprise there are some strange results out there. Hype drives a lot of those results.

Casey has some unusual business practices but the beers are well regarded off BA as well.

I’m a little shocked that the average for Prairie is so low… it seems like a big deal out here, of course here in Oregon we barely see any, so when it shows up it’s a big deal, and it’s always their limited stuff like Christmas Bomb.

I had a hopped lager from Yellowhammer as a take home from Best of Craft Beer and I grabbed it mostly because I have friends in Alabama, it was very delicious.

I feel like Great Notion is the highest here in Oregon simply because it’s the hottest new shiny thing, but I haven’t been to their place yet so I can’t really say.  I’ve had a few of their beers at festivals and bottle shares.
