Wise and learned forum members! Hey. 'Sup? I bring a question.
I’ve got a lot of SS Brewtech equipment, including their Brew Cube, a 7-gallon Chronical 2.0 fermenter, and a glycol chiller/temp control. They’re wonderful products, but I wonder if there are other options out there which might offer just as much bang for much less buck. This is especially as I contemplate another, larger conical fermenter in order to scale up to 10-gallon batches. For $700, the 14-gallon Chronical 2.0 fermenters presently offer, as standard, the following:
- Etched volume markings gals/liters
- Welded TC flanges
- Keyed Rotatable Silicone Racking Arm
- 1.5” TC Slim Butterfly Valves
- 1.5” TC Thermowell with LCD Thermometer
- 3" TC Cap with PRV and Blow Off Barb
- 3” TC Combination Port (Dry Hop, CIP, and Cap Port)
- 6” TC Lid with fully welded chiller coil
- Neoprene Insulation Jacket
Should I just get another one, or are there other options/companies I should consider for reduced cost?
