Hell yes I’ll order this too, I love me a good Dunkel!

Thank God it’s only one of me

Even that’s a bit much sometimes.

I think you’ll find much agreement on that.

Sure!

Book suggestions anyone? I submit Experimental Homebrewing with a shameless hope that the authors will join us a time or two. Book club as a thread, a series of online meetings, both, or something else altogether?

What do you think is our best option? I don’t think I’ve ever been part of a book club

Sure, we’d be happy to.

Experimental Homebrewing is only coming up with used copies.  ???  I can find new and digital copies of Homebrew All Stars.

For venue, are you talking synchronous or asynchronous?  Asynchronous could be just a thread here.

I’ll leave venue to others, but yeah EH has no new print run on it.

We could start a new thread if that would be easiest for everyone

I just ordered Experimental Homebrewing, but I had to order used from Amazon. Had hoped to be able to directly support you guys. I’d love to start it as a thread with a synchronous event at some point if you guys are willing.  I’m going to look into platforms a bit more.

Sounds good I’m ordering aswell

I am trying to find the best platform for the book discussions. So far, it looks like Facebook may be the easiest. I started a group named Brewer’sBookClub (all one word). Please see if you’re able to find it and request to join.  If this  works, we can make it a separate thread and offer to more folks. Y’all  are my guinea pigs.

Link should be: Redirecting...

If that doesn’t work,  try this: Redirecting...

I am making this up as I go along and wholly open to suggestions.

I believe I have submitted a join request.

I’ll see if there are any used Experimental Homebrewings left.

Looks like it worked. Thanks for being the test case!

Another book I like is “Brewing Classic Styles”.  I still refer to it when I’m developing a recipe or trying a new style and I want to start out with some thing I know will work that I may or may not want to change.

Will attempt to join when I get home
