;D Yeah Right!!! ;D - Not in a million %#$@%%^ years.
Doing a big beer on Friday. Kate the Great clone from the Portmsouth Brewery. RIS with OG of 1.104. The grain bill ( for 5 gallons ) is about 25lbs…my first “real” test for my mash tun ( Coleman Xtreme 72qt - Blue of course ). I have a nice big amount of yeast slurry I pulled off of a pale ale last night in the fridge. In a few weeks, it will be aging in a keg with port soaked oak spirals.
Can’t wait to see this one rockin’ the top of the fermenter!!!
Oatmeal stout for me on Friday. Had a hankerin’ yesterday and decided that’s what needs to be brewed next. Toasted my oats last night for an hour at 325F. Kinda wonder if I over toasted them; they’re pretty golden brown. Thoughts? Concerns? Suggestions?
I’m brewing a “Sasquatian Ale” in preperation for a local competition for next years NHC. If successful, y’all will get to try it. Remember the theme for the Seattle NHC is “Brewing with Bigfoot”
Whew. I thought we were going to have to plan an intervention AND revoke a man card.
Friday, I’m canceling everything to brew a Schwarzbier with experimental Czech lager yeast.
Happy Thanksgiving all!
Ha! You’re right. I used the 4x magnification on IE to look at the photo more closely. It is a cloud. At normal magnification the curve of the cloud lines up with where the curve of the kettle bottom would be.
Never mind. As you were gentlemen…
