Cherries + Rauchbier = Style 29A or 29C?

Let’s say I happen to add some cherry puree to a Rauchbier,  would it considered a fruit beer with a Rauchbier base (29A) or should it be entered as a specialty fruit beer with cherries and smoke flavor?  I’m thinking 29A.

Thanks,

Jay

PS:  the recipe for the Rauchbier looks like this:
3 lb Gr Pils
3 lb Munich (10L)
5 lb Rauchmalz
.5 lb carafa II special
.25 Chrystal 120
Treated RO:  Ca ~60 ppm, CL/SO4 ~ .6
.5 oz Hallertauer FWH
.25 oz magnum 60 min
1 hallertauer 15 min
Post boil SP ~ 1.053 at 6 gallons

32B. Specialty Smoked Beer
From the guidelines: “A Specialty Smoked Beer is either a smoked beer based on
something other than a Classic Style, or any type of smoked
beer with additional ingredients (fruits, vegetables, spices) or
processes employed that transform the beer into something
more unique.”

Be careful mixing smoke with cherries.  The two can mix to form a medicinal/cough syrup flavors.  Restraint will be your friend.

Good Luck!
