Hey all!
I had a very active fermentation on my last batch and the blow off tubing is a mess. I have been trying to clean it with no luck. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Soak it in hot oxyclean or PBW solution.
Some of the homebrew suppliers carry a full line of long handled tubing brushes. I’ve got several diameters that are 3’ long.
I do a combo of soak and run a brush thru hoses. They clean up good as new.
Thanks all! All great suggestions.
The way I look at it tubing is cheap compared to the risk of ruining a full batch. Not that a blow off tube is necessarily going to harm beer but its my rule in general. When in doubt, replace it.
Good point, but on the other hand I hate to dispose of stuff that might be usable. I have never had a piece of tubing that couldn’t be cleaned to my satisfaction.
