I would like to be able to have different psi (due to different styles of beer I want to have on tap) and have them connected to just one CO2 bottle. I believe I saw a hose insert at the Homebrew Con in Minneapolis this past June that did this. You could set the psi for each of the small metal inserts you added to the line going to each keg. That way you could have 1 CO2 bottle and a specific psi for each keg that was connected. I can’t recall the name of the company. I’m wondering if anyone here knows of this product or maybe you know of a way to do this that with different equipment/supplies. I like having a variety of beer in my kegerator, and currently have a stout, white ale, Belgian ale and a lager to dispense, and shouldn’t use the same pressure for them all.
The hose insert you’re referring to sounds like it would go into the beer line; these have been around a while, at least in home-made form.
In order to reduce pressure on the gas side, you need a regulator, so for four beers that would mean a splitter/manifold and three more regulators. At the homebrew scale you can compromise and manually adjust the regulator to each pressure (easier to go lowest to highest), topping the kegs off every day and/or after a session… if you can remember.
Keg king just started selling their inline regulators in the US. Dirt cheap, but no gauge. Would need to rig up a gauge to a flare or barb to set.
I think this what you’re looking for:

What you need is a secondary regulator. Here is what they look like. I’m sure you can find cheaper ones out there.
At HomeBrewCon ITW was showing a secondary pressure regulator http://www.itwprt.com/us/gov-regulator.php that was pretty cool, and relatively cheap if you wanted multiple. You need their external regulator to set the in-line regulator, which screws onto a corny fitting, but then the individual pieces were cheaper than a bunch of secondary regulators. I bought one of their starter kits at the show, but I have not seen their stuff for sale anywhere since.
Thank you for posting that. I was checking those out at HBC but couldn’t remember the name of the company.
Pretty slick
