Episode 4 - Experimental Brewing is now live!

Episode 4 of our podcast is now up! On this episode we tackle what we promise we’re going to do over the next year and how we’re prepared to look like fools! We talk listener feedback about the potential decline of home brewing, nonprofit brewing, the BrewTube community’s loss, a “live” listener tasting that turned explosive and we explore Rancho El Sully aka the 21st Amendment Brewery with Shaun O’Sullivan.

Haven’t you guys been bought out by AB InBev yet?

Not yet! We’ve been working on it!

Hey. Keep up the good work. It’s a nice mixture of beer talk, news, and ideas. I like what you guys are doing!

Thanks!

Got an Oatmeal Amber Ale in the mash tun and the episode playing right now - Interview with Sully is interesting and entertaining.

Keep em coming.

A Christmas present for us listeners. Thanks! Merry Christmas.

Thanks for the “direct link…” otherwise I have to listen streaming, and not everyone lives in 3G coverage area. I know, sad story

Also, thanks for going to the bar before the crowd gets fired up. Way less distracting.

Jim, your RSS reader doesn’t let you download for offline listening? You should really look into that. If I had to stream all my podcasts my data use would.

Thanks for another great episode, guys. I can totally relate to most of your Brew Year’s Resolutions. Denny, I think you will really like the Red X once you get around to brewing with it.

I appreciate that comment, Jim.  we want to use that pub ambiance, but I struggle with how loud to make it.  It’s lower this time than usual and it sounds like I got it right.

I agree. I didn’t find it distracting this time around. It wasn’t necessarily bad before, but it took a bit of effort to tune it out.

+2.  Seems about right now. Really enjoying the show.

I have constant noises around me and tune stuff out pretty easily. At least that’s what my wife tells me. Well maybe she told me, I wasn’t paying attention.

Thanks, guys.  We appreciate comments about ANY aspect of the show!

Just listened to my first episode yesterday morning on the drive to and from hockey.  It was the episode were the two of you discussed the “craft” title and I really enjoyed that.  Wish more people would just judge beer on their own preferences as opposed to what other people tell them to drink.  It bothers me when people feel they have to justify their own beer drinking decisions.

Not to knock other podcasts, but it’s nice to have a podcast that is easy on the ears for kids.  Thanks.

That’s our goal.  We either bleep stuff or issue warnings if we don’t.  There’s no reason to exclude anyone.

Yea - really good stuff.  And I thought it looked like Drew had lost a lot of weight - glad to hear that it was an intentional thing - I was a bit afraid to say anything about it…

I look forward to more of your insights and to the taste test comparison results.  I will be using some acid on my kettle as a New Year’s Day beer stone removal project - just wondering how strong it needs to be?  Any quick and easy suggested acid solution?
