Experimental Brewing Podcast 114 - Seaworthy PilPaSon

Beer tasting on the high seas. (Ok, on the Puget Sound)  Denny, Drew and Tony O are joined by Annie (on a ferry) to taste the results of the beer we brewed back in Episode 106 - the world famous, game changing PilPalSon! We taste them side by side and talk what we liked about each of them. We also talk shutdowns, memorials and what Drew is planning on doing with almost a ton of grain and what Denny’s doing with poor defenseless mushrooms!

Thumbs up on the lounge, it was a conglomeration of fond memory and personal inspiration. My wife and I used to live in Port Orchard and love the Puget Sound ferries. The first piece I ever had published (Jan/Feb 2014 Zymurgy Last Drop) was inspired by Denny in a post challenging someone who was complaining about the articles in Zymurgy to submit something himself. And my first BYO piece (Sept 2014 Last Call) was inspired by Annie’s winning homebrewer of the year with a really simple recipe.

The pilpalson sounds awesome.

It was.  We really lucked out.

You say luck…  I say skill… who am I kidding - Luck!

I have to admit. This was a pretty great episode.
