explosion

so after i went to bottle and priming 6 of my bottles exploded litterally why does this happen

A few reasons can cause this.  Beer was not finished fermenting, too much priming sugar or improperly mixed, infection from unsanitary conditions (bottles not clean enough) to name the prime suspects.

It will take some more information from you to pinpoint exactly what went wrong in your situation.

Sorry to hear about your loss! It has probably happened to all of us at some point or another. I remember a few “bottle bombs” going off at my homebrewery.  :-[

If it was just 6 then they could have been weeks bottles or maybe the last six and there was sugar at the bottom of the bottling bucket that wasn’t mixed in and they got an extra dose.

I wouldn’t assume they’re done, though. You may have more go off, so be careful.

You might want to get the rest in the fridge as soon as possible to get the yeast to flocculate and stop working on the available sugars.

and once they’re chilled, you should probably start drinking them to completely eliminate the possibility of any more bottle bombs.
