Favorite Commerical Breweries

So I was just curious to see everyone’s top 10 or so favorite commercial craft breweries?
Here are mine in no certain order
Odells Brewing (CO)
Strange Brewing (CO)
Deschutes brewery (OR)
Firestone Walker Brewing (CA)
Fort Collins Brewery (CO)
Big Sky Brewing (MT)
Mendocino Brewing Company (Select and Legend) (CA)
Dogfish Head (DE)
Big Horn Brewing (CB& Potts restaurant) (CO)
Stone Brewing (CA)

in no certain order:

rogue
dogfish head
stone
russian river
great divide
moylan’s
drake’s
sierra nevada

In no particular order of preference except for #1
1.) Sierra Nevada
2.) Oskar Blues
3.) Victory
4.) Flying Fish
5.) North Coast
6.) Anchor
7.) Gordon Biersch
8.) Boston Brewing
9.) Traquair House
10.) Yuengling

Not making the list (because I don’t like their beers overall) is AB-InBev…but they do get a begrudging honorable  mention because a couple of their specialty “craft” beers are actually very worthy and I enjoy them from time to time. (do I need to duck after saying that??)

I agree some their “craft” beers are very good, much like some of Coors offshoot craft brews

This is a list that’s ever changing, but here is mine at this moment…
1.  Odell
2.  AleSmith
3.  Avery
4.  Full Sail
5.  Dry Dock (right around the corner from my house)
6.  Stone
7.  Oskar Blues
8.  Left Hand
9.  Dogfish
10.  New Belgium

In the number one spot:
a tie:  Boulevard, Sierra Nevada
Deschutes almost makes it a 3 way tie, but they brewed the abomination known as the Abyss.
Other than these 3 I really don’t run across breweries whose entire portfolio appeals to me.

Current favorites in no particular order. Subject to change without notice.

Russian River
Green Flash
Alpine
Avery
Alesmith
Firestone Walker
Pizza Port
Stone
Ballast Point
Bear Republic

Dry Dock is great, I have recently discovered them. I really enjoy the brew hut for my homebrew supplies. only  draw in terms of supplies is its a 30min drive for me to get to the neck of the woods, and also you have to navigate the tech center  >:(.

I think that my favorite list could easily go up to 20 regular breweries that i drink, but i tried to pick breweries that i liked all their beers or almost all.

Triumph
River Horse
Flying Fish
Sierra Nevada
Yuengling
Dogfish
Founder’s

Bells
DogFish Head
The rest are Canadian and the rules are very clear that they have to be USA breweries.

lol. I think we can allow Canadian craft breweries, however i’m not sure that i will recognize many of the names,

It’s easier if I just stick with my favorite local places (alphabetically).

Big Time
Black Raven
Boundary Bay
Diamond Knot
Elliot Bay
Elysian
Everybody’s
Fremont
Maritime Pacific
Naked City
Schooner Exact

Stone
Founders
Ballast Point
Green Flash
Odell’s
Ska
Firestone Walker
Sierra Nevada
Great Divide
Nebraska Brewing Company

I take this list and add

Silver City
Pike

13 you say?
A Baker’s dozen of awesome.

If you’re going to pick 10 great local breweries your list is bound to leave off a bunch that are worthy

I live in SE Centennial and Dry Dock and Brew Hut are only a 7 min drive from my house.  Dry Dock brews some great beer.  I get all my ingredients from Brew Hut and the staff there is great.

Dogfish Head
Firestone Walker
Sierra Nevada
Victory
Stone
Rogue
Bear Republic
New Belgium
Great Divide
Allagash

The list evolves over time but this is the most current list.

I agree living in CO i can name like 30breweries off the top of my head that are great and could compete with any national craft brewery

Yeah I live over in the Ken Caryl so the Brew Hut and Beer at home (Broadway and Quincy) are my two local brew shops. however the Brew Hut i think has a better staff. I love dry dock i have not had a bad beer yet, their ESB is great and along with their IPA’s, i only wish the bottled all their beers

Ah, I can’t believe I forgot about Great Divide.  I also like Breckenridge Brewery and my wife loves BB’s vanilla porter and Christmas ale.
