I am in the Army and getting stationed in Ansbach, Germany in June. I wanted to know if there are any home brew clubs on any military bases or in German communities.

I visited the German Homebrewers (“Hobby Brauer”) Association annual gathering last September and learned that there are few homebrew clubs over there in the sense we have them in the states. They weem to have have more informal groups, gathered around specific towns.
However, there is a good magazine supporting Hobby Brewers, called “Bier & Brauhaus” that will help you make contact
I met its editor, Markus Harms, and he is very interested in making contact with American homebrewers.
