And yes, there is a beer in hand.
Yes it is!
BTW…Whatcha cookin’?
Pretty sight! Some of my best days are standing next to the smoker drinking good homebrew. Can’t beat it !
Ribs and boston butt.
Makes me proud to be an American!
same here, I smoked some ribs and enjoyed some of my Belgian Dubbel…sorry no pics because it’s already a memory
Sight for sore eyes!
I went crazy with the smoker yesterday. Two chickens, three racks of ribs, two pork shoulders, a rabbit, and some sausages. All washed down with a bourbon porter.
Lots of left overs. Gonna do it again next weekend.
And you rubber dipped your feet to make permasocks!
We did some ribs as well with a mixture of pecan, apple and cherry. Daughter made some jicama slaw and corn on the cob. Washed down with a myriad of homebrewed libations. A very good day, indeed!
Smoked 4 racks of ribs on Sunday for a combination son’s birthday party/reconnect with the neighborhood party. Use apple and cherry for smoke…I’ll have to try the pecan next time.
Brewed a doppelbock yesterday because it finally stopped raining and the wind wasn’t blowing 30 mph like it had been for the past 7 days.
Nice Keith!
…didn’t know you had a smoker. I had a Brinkmann exactly like yours, then sold it and bought a WSM. Although, I had great results with the Brinkmann.
Fun times!
Do the modifications on the Brinkman for it to work right.

I almost bought a Brinkman but it looked too draughty.
That Brinkman was the first smoker I owned. It’s been almost 10 years, but I still have it. It’s been years since I’ve used it since I’ve been using my pit smoker for the past 3 years, yet, there’s no way I’m giving it away!
I used to own a Brinkman - got alot of use from it. I have a New Braunfels 2- chamber style now. Love it. Definitely not in Ron’s league though.
I’m probably going to get a Komodo this summer. But the brinkman works ok. Just plan about 9+ hours for a pork shoulder. Yer gonna have to build the fire again at least once and that means tearing the whole thing apart. Otherwise u can add coals and wood throughout the day.
