Home Brew Con(vention) 2026

I am having difficulty booking a room at the Aloft. It keeps telling me that the “group rate is not available for your dates.”

Any ideas??

I believe it was $76 and it included a short-term membership to the AHA. A good deal I believe!

No - I would call them. I had no problems booking there and there are 22 people going from my club who are also staying there. Whenever you have a group rate, there is a number of rooms reserved at that rate. My guess is that that number has been exceeded. That doesn’t mean that they are out of rooms. It just means that the organizer (AHA) needs to increase the number of rooms in the allocation.

I will call again. My wife originally called when we could not get a room and (maybe got someone who did not know what was going on) was told, essentially, that the reserved group rate was only good for Thursday night, which really did not make sense to me.

I will call them again. Thanks.

YESSSSSSSSS! Registration for HOMEBREW CON 26 is OPEN :clinking_beer_mugs:

That’s right—registration for Homebrew Con 2026 is officially OPEN. :clinking_beer_mugs:

What do you get with registration? Two jam-packed days of Brewers Talks, Ignite Talks, Homebrew Expo, Homebrew Hospitality, legendary Club Night, and a rubbing elbows with the world’s biggest gathering of homebrewer leaders.

And here’s the thing: HBC 2026 will be smaller than years past. That means limited tickets. And yes… we expect a sell-out. Act NOW.

If Homebrew Con has been on your “someday” list, this is your nudge. Someday is now.

if you still run into problems, email info@homebrewersassociation.org because that shouldn’t be an issue.

Thanks Drew. I called the hotel again and they told me that while they could give me the block room rate for Thursday, there wre no rooms available under the block rate for Friday or Saturday.

I’ll shoot the AHA an email.

I recently shared a post about things to do in the Asheville area. I would recommend at least 2-3 extra days.

If you don’t have lodging, don’t wait another minute to book. It appears most if not all of the reserved event rooms are filled. I managed to get into Cambria for a price close to the special price for 5 nights through Priceline. As far as I could tell, and I didn’t call all the hotels, extra night may be significantly higher.

I see there are some that aren’t available at the group rate. Did the run out of rooms?

It appears that way to me. I ran into that last night. All the links to the special rates went nowhere. They downsized this year and did warn folks tickets were going fast.

I’m registered.

All the group rate rooms seem to be taken. But I found a room with military family rate and free parking at the Home2Suite – only about 2 miles away.

In case you haven’t seen it, there’s a new thread for attendees for NHC/HBC ride shares and roommates, either hotel or Air bnb. Check it out!

how does signing up for club night work and is there a deadline?

My local club hasn’t figured out headcount yet of attendees and determined if we’ll have enough participants and beer to warrant a full table.

If there’s only a handful of us can we tack onto another table?

Right now it doesn’t sound like anyone from the club is driving down, so likely it’ll be bottles and/or 1 gallon oxebar kegs in the checked luggage

There’s no minimum required for pouring at Club Night. I’ve seen 2 person booths before.

The only real requirement is that everyone there must be ticketed.

As for signups - those should be online shortly.

Hi all. All additional ways to participate in HBC, for AHA members, will be published by the end of March including Club Night application, how to volunteer and more. Cheers.

Hi Friends,

We’re excited to see strong early interest in Homebrew Con 2026 in Asheville and wanted to share a quick update on hotel availability.

Several hotels in the official Homebrew Con room block are beginning to fill up, including the Renaissance (our headquarters hotel), Aloft, Moxy, and Cambria. Saturday night at the Renaissance is currently sold out in the block, and availability there is limited on other nights as well. If you were hoping to stay at one of these properties, we recommend booking soon.

There is currently more availability at Embassy Suites, DoubleTree, Haywood Park, Hilton Garden Inn, and Four Points, all of which are still part of the official Homebrew Con hotel block and within easy access of conference activities.

Our team is also reaching out to our hotel partners to see if additional rooms may be available to add to the block where possible.

If Homebrew Con is on your calendar, now is a great time to secure your room and lock in the conference rate. You can view the full list of hotels and book your stay here:

Book your hotel for HBC

As well, a reminder to register for the conference quickly as a sellout is expected. Register here.

We’ll continue to share updates if additional rooms become available.

Cheers,
The AHA Events Team

This might be a dumb question, but I’m a total newbie to homebrewcon

Is club night the only forum for sharing my homebrew with other attendees at the event? Or is there opportunity to pour and share beers at different times throughout the Con?
