Thinking of adding hops to a small batch of Cabernet Sauv. I’m bottling. Any thoughts?
Doesn’t sound so good to me, but it’s your wine.
I can’t picture it in a big red like a Cab, especially if it’s something that needs to be aged. I can’t really picture a hop variety that would work well for that.
I could see something like a Gewurz or a Sauvignon Blanc being interesting with a light dry hop of something fruity or citrusy. It works OK in cider.
