Building my trellis tomorrow. Until then tomato stakes will do.
Looks good! After the move I haven’t figured out what to do with mine, so I’ve just left them to their own devices.
Of course, so far they seem to be doing better then when I spent a lot of time tending to them. Go figure…
Mine just started poking through a few days ago. I had to clip last years bines off of my coir twine, but otherwise this will probably be as much attention as they will get until my birds start eating the low hanging leaves.
Unfortunately, my Sorachi Ace didn’t survive the winter (I grow in containers and the roots probably froze). The Sterling and Pacific Gem have a lot of tips starting to poke out already, so I’m hoping for a harvestable crop this year (this is year 3 for these plants).
