I’ve used Japser Yeast 5 times. I do like Jasper Yeast. I like they are, relatively, local to me.
Reliable, quick fermentation begin. Yeast does what it claims. Actually, right now I’m drinking a German Pils (think Bitburger) fermented with Jasper Yeast. IMO, much, much better than the real Bitburger. It’s now just me claiming. I did blind taste test with family and friends.
Others use Jasper Yeast? If so, thoughts (both good and bad).
Update, they do offer homebrew pitches direct to consumer! There’s a little lead time but they got me the yeast from order to delivery in around 2 weeks. They ain’t cheap and perhaps some of the strains are redundant to others I could buy at my “local” HBS but I was really excited about their Urs and Franconian strains, which are not commonly sold.
