Lager yeast

What lager yeast is available in dry or liquid that works well in warmer temps.  I may have a difficult time getting my carboy down into the 40’s low 50’s.

Thanks BV

The standard answer is going to be a California Common yeast- Wyeast 2112

Even that one should be fermented in the low 60’s F.

Might have better luck using a clean ale yeast- US05/1056/001

Just finished two batches using 1056 & 001.

wyeast 2124 and saflager 34/70 is probably a good choice.

+1 to WY 2124/830/34-70.  They ferment pretty cleanly into the mid 50s.

My recommendation too.

Maybe that Kolsch yeast from Marshalls exbeeriment? Can’t remember it offhand but didn’t he ferment a mock lager in the 60s with the strain and it was indistinguishable from cold fermented 34/70 to tasters?

2124 for me also. Fantastic and versatile yeast strain! Even into the low 60s as I did with my cali common

2124 seems to be the yeast of choice.

Thanks

One more vote for 2124.  Have used both smack-pack and dry.  Also repitched 6 generations.  D-rest to 70F.
