I bought a stainless stout faucet from Micromatic last fall and it’s worked great up until a few nights ago when it randomly started leaking out of the end of the nozzle. It started as a weak stream, but as I was moving the handle around, it became more like a steady drip. In any case, it doesn’t stop unless I disconnect the liquid line from the keg. I don’t even know where to begin as far as taking this thing apart. Has anyone else had this happen? Anyone have any suggestions?

Go to the link below and click on the replacement parts tab, there is an exploded diagram. Take yours apart, figure out which is the bad part, and replace it. You might want to replace (or get a backup for) anything that is looking worn as long as you are placing an order.
It probably is something like the diaphragm or possibly a seal. The faucet is less than a year old though, and I wouldn’t expect something like that to wear out so soon.
As for taking it apart, I don’t have a clue where to start. :-[
Did you look at the diagram? Part 7/8 unscrews at the top, and 18/19 unscrews from the bottom.
I did, but the diagram doesn’t indicate which parts can be unscrewed. And when I previously tried unscrewing parts 7/8, they wouldn’t budge. I didn’t want to force something that wasn’t supposed to unscrew. Now that I know 7/8 unscrews, I’m happy to employ a wrench!

Just be gentle and wrap it with cloth if it’s that tight. You don’t want tool marks on it when you’re done. I just do mine hand tight and it doesn’t leak.
