Hello to all you online fun and geeky homebrewers. Wanted to put the idea in this group’s head to consider creating a formal gathering at Homebrew Con, June 19-20, in Asheville.
For anyone already going, one option is to sign up for a spot inside Homebrew Expo called 'Homebrew Hospitality’.
From the sign-up page: Homebrew Hospitality (formerly called Social Club and Meet Ups) is a space for clubs, online communities, national organizations related to homebrewing, and other groups to gather. It is open to all the conference’s attendees and, if approved, your group will gather together in person while you educate others about the mission and purpose behind your cause. Groups and clubs participating can choose to serve their homebrew for sensory tasting and education or forgo serving and still enjoy meeting together. Seven time slots are available, and each can accommodate two groups. First approved will be first confirmed. Don’t delay and apply now!
How cool will it be for AHA Forum-ites (us) actually to meet in person?!
Anyone interested in leading and getting this group together should sign up here (note that attendees must be AHA members and registered to attend HBC).
