Had some friends out last night for a planked salmon.
Brisket shmisket. Where’s the beer?
Looks great.
Plenty of beer to wash down the beef and fixins: Vienna Lager, Innkeeper homage, Landbier, Summer Ale…
This year is a sausage smorgasbord. Kielbasa, brats, conecuh, hot dogs, potato salad, grilling beans, chips, and of course beer.
Even though it’s a great opportunity to get together with the kids and grandkids, let’s not forget the reason for the day. I know quite a few folks that have gone before in sacrifice to our country. Good men and women. So, as you wash down your Memorial Day celebration lift a glass to some damn fine people.
