Merry Christmas Y'all

I can not believe someone would throw this away.

Yes, it was dirty. It was rusty. It’s 8 foot tall and almost 6 feet wide. One of the legs was bent. One small weld had given way. But I drug it home anyway.

After 30 minutes with some steel wool, and a quick hit of 220 grit sandpaper to knock the rust and dirt chunks off it was ready for paint.

Followed that by an hour or so to put on the Rustoleum flat white. Both sides, and a touch up to catch the missed spots. Took just under two cans to do all of it, but it sure was clean again.

two strands of dollar store lights and a buncha zipties later…

I think I have the basis for my Christmas card.

:D, Awesome Loopy.

I love your DIY style.  Nothing better than a good dumpster dive.

Totaly need to get your family gussied up and get them around for the Christmas Card Photo.

Cheers. 8)
