My Brewery and Alehouse-Shed

I built/remodeled  this from a standard 22’x14’ shed, when I started , it had a bunch of old lawnmowers and some old rusty tools in it , after explaining to my wife this would be a good idea, she reluctantly OK’d the project.
I started July 2008, and finished May 2009 , it was a busy winter , but I did all the work solo  ;D

Some of the features include :

2 sinks
4 refrigerators
Hot and Cold filtered Water supply
Heat- A/C
Cable TV, Internet
Mug Club  ( 24 members )
4 Taps

I call this the " HammerSmith Brewery and Alehouse " , I am a big fan of british style beer …enjoy

This is the PUB- (right side of the shed )

Thanks for looking !

Only 4 taps?  Slacker…

Seriously - that’s some awesome beer pron!

Very nice! I remember seeing that on another forum and you saying that it was 5 minutes from your house. Is that still the case? I understand the appeal of escaping home for a beer, but it sure would be nice to have that in the backyard!

Don’t know about the OP, but where I live 5 minutes from the house is still the backyard!

I’m green!  Looks like all you need now is a topless waitress. :o

Absolutely fantastic and some inspiration for me. I have a similar project going here. I am enclosing my 15x30 pool pavilion. The wife wants the stuff out of the house. I am not going to put a pub area in though. Once I get all the stuff out of the house we will have the pub in the house as I have taken over our patio room and wet bar area with carboys fermenting, supplies, grain and other misc. stuff. It will be climate controlled and will have an 8x10 walk in cold storage/lagering room. I don’t have a pic of the work in progress on this computer but here is an older pic of the building I have enclosed and am working on.

Wow!  Nice Job!  8)  I’m building a brew shed also.  Just put the floor joists down and a little subfloor decking at this point.  It will be 10x20 overall with 10x15 dedicated to making beer.

Oh yeh, this is my first post on here, wandered over from the NB forum… aka dnb.

Sweet baby jesus… I wish I owned my garage, I’d totally get my mechanically talented friends to teach me how to do that!

That has got to be the most awesome brew cave I have ever seen.  :o

You get the medal for that one.

That is a work of art! Totally awesome. Your wife is going to regret letting you build that. She is never going to see you any more  ;D

I guess it has an “outside” bathroom? ::)  Beautiful and well done.

:o I am in love!

WOW :o
Who needs a house when you have this?

That is truly awesome.
I’d be happy being in the mug club.

Is that Heaven, Nirvana or Shangri La…I can’t decide  ::slight_smile:

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone  Feel free to ask any questions… with limited space, I spent alot of time measuring equipment and the layout of the floor plan.

I’m awestruck.

Next time I need leverage with SWMBO, I will show her your digs.

I am in awe!
Truly amazing, just incredible!

Wow!  How much time do you have into that?

I started on the shed in Oct 2008 and finished in April 2009 , not too bad , but lot’s of long winter nights …
