I built/remodeled this from a standard 22’x14’ shed, when I started , it had a bunch of old lawnmowers and some old rusty tools in it , after explaining to my wife this would be a good idea, she reluctantly OK’d the project.
I started July 2008, and finished May 2009 , it was a busy winter , but I did all the work solo ;D
Some of the features include :
2 sinks
4 refrigerators
Hot and Cold filtered Water supply
Heat- A/C
Cable TV, Internet
Mug Club ( 24 members )
4 Taps
I call this the " HammerSmith Brewery and Alehouse " , I am a big fan of british style beer …enjoy
Very nice! I remember seeing that on another forum and you saying that it was 5 minutes from your house. Is that still the case? I understand the appeal of escaping home for a beer, but it sure would be nice to have that in the backyard!
Absolutely fantastic and some inspiration for me. I have a similar project going here. I am enclosing my 15x30 pool pavilion. The wife wants the stuff out of the house. I am not going to put a pub area in though. Once I get all the stuff out of the house we will have the pub in the house as I have taken over our patio room and wet bar area with carboys fermenting, supplies, grain and other misc. stuff. It will be climate controlled and will have an 8x10 walk in cold storage/lagering room. I don’t have a pic of the work in progress on this computer but here is an older pic of the building I have enclosed and am working on.
Wow! Nice Job! 8) I’m building a brew shed also. Just put the floor joists down and a little subfloor decking at this point. It will be 10x20 overall with 10x15 dedicated to making beer.
Oh yeh, this is my first post on here, wandered over from the NB forum… aka dnb.
Thanks for all the nice comments everyone Feel free to ask any questions… with limited space, I spent alot of time measuring equipment and the layout of the floor plan.
