With new cornies going for $100+, it doesn’t seem that far out of line. Definitely a niche product though - how many people brew both 1 gal and 5 gal batches? An extension kit to make it a 2.5 gal seems more logical to me.
Yeah ,my thoughts, too. A couple brand new kegs would be cheaper. And playing devil’s advocate, I wonder how well the seals hold up over time with the extender in. Sort of cool, but I’ll pass.
I guess we’re all alike. I always have to stop myself when I see brand new kegs going for $75. I think, that’s such a good price, and it’ll never be that cheap ever again. But, I have to talk myself out of it. I have 11 kegs; where would I put any more–modular or whatever.
Ok, I hadn’t seen these. Damn, I like these and I really like the price for that design. I want to buy 2 or 3, but I have 17-ish 5 gallon kegs - can’t justify. But I don’t have any 2.5s, which I would like. Hmmmmmm…
Man, I’m picturing even more beers on tap. I can add a couple more faucets, but I can use cobras where tap space is tight. Stackable with the QDs on is a really great idea.
