I put a full keg in my keezer a couple days ago and attached the connecter that goes to the tap and it dribbles out and stopped. I’m stumped. here’s what its not:
the keg isn’t frozen
the dip tube is in the righ place
the gas is getting to the keg
I pulled out the bag of hops I had in there thinking maybe it was stuck
the poppets appear to be workng
the gas and liquid connections are right
the thingys inside the gas and liquid connects that interact with the poppets appear ok
help, i want to drink the beer…
edit: the flow control on the perliks are not turned off.
Are you positive? It can sometimes take a bit of pressure to get the disconnects to fully seat down onto the posts. It can help to pull the ring up on the disconnect as you are pushing it down onto the post.
Has the line been sitting against the wall? I wonder if it’s frozen in the line.

A quick and easy way to rule out poppets, if you suspect them at all, it to just remove them on the beer out side. Pull the guts out of one of the poppets, and one of the taps. Just DO NOT remove the “out” poppet before ensure that there is no pressure in the keg. Been there, done that, beer geyser isn’t nearly as much fun as it sounds…

it happened as soon as I hooked up the luquid (it had been on gas for a couple days with no liquid connection. also, beer did go into the hose which I suppose is another mystery.
All of my ideas include hooking up different things, but if you’re out of ideas:
Do you have an extra QD to try?
If not, can you remove the QD from the line and open the tap to see if you get flow through the line to the faucet?
Do you have a cobra tap or something similar that you can connect to the keg?
With a few of these it seems you could at least narrow it down to something between the dip tube and the exit point or something between the QD and the faucet.
Turn the pressure up to 40 and see what happens.
Yep. If you have too much yeast and trub in the keg, you can clog the dip tube. High pressure can help unclog.
I kinda have this notion too. I’m not home but that seems like a thing to do later.
Double check your “out” poppet for debris. Sounds like a clogged poppet.
I have had that happen. I have also had clogged dip tubes that had to be removed and cleared with a dip tube brush. Have had frozen lines, and even partially frozen kegs.
Twas a clogged dip tube.
