I will be in brooklyn the next few days, any suggestions?  I like sours and currently live in texas so there are many beers I cannot get ahold of.

Brooklyn is pretty big, but do try Barcade, Mugs Alehouse, and for sours and Belgians Spuytin Duyvel is a must.

I went to Barcade when I was in NYC in July.  The beer list was great but the premises looks very ordinary.  We actually thought it had closed down but lucky for me Mrs G wanted a closer look.  Don’t be put off by the exterior.

I think there is a new dba in Williamsburg.

There are other excellent places besides Williamsburg in Brooklyn, but I have not been to those. Park Slope and Prospect Heights are often mentioned.
