Looking for suggestions if anybody orders them online, I ussually purchase from my LHBS but he is currently out
I just bought four (a couple months back), from Adventures in Homebrewing. Had a decent sale. They bought Austin Homebrew a few years back, so they have the same sale.
Adventures in Homebrewing tends to have the best sales and deals on kegs in my experience. It helps if you can wait until you find a deal on what you’re looking for.
Looks like they got em for 40 bucks! Killer
I always see them for sale on craigslist for about the same price as stores.
I purchased most of mine from Adventures in Homebrewing. Sign up for email notification because they will have new 5 gallon on sale for $75 on occasion.
Thanks everybody! My LHBS is about an hour away. I do try to spend most of my money in there but limited keg supply and the price he sells them new just isn’t going to jive this time
You can only support the local up to the point it makes sense. If it’s over 10% or something at online pricing + shipping at the local, the nostalgia fades and reality sets in.
Especially when I just set up a new keezer!
Man, am I glad I got into kegging when used kegs were $15 a piece…
That was my thought too. Some days it pays to be old I guess.

The real injustice here is, about 12-15 years ago I had all of this stuff when I lived in Olympia washington and when I moved back to georgia to start my apprenticeship as an electrician I traded all of it to some hippies for some other leafy greens substances I enjoyed at the time as I couldn’t bring all of it with me. Lol so here I am
Or less sometimes. 20 years ago I picked up 10 gal cornies for $20 each.
I got quite a few from AIH for $15 too. I also “knew a guy” who sold kegs so I got a few that way too. Does anyone know what shipping would be on kegs? I know I probably ordered two at a time but I have no idea what I paid for shipping.
I just ordered 3 from AIH and it was 13 bucks ground
