Refresh my memory…is it normal for PBW granules to drop to the bottom of a kettle/fermenter, etc. after an hour or so?

Finally, any issue with soaking my plastic Speidel with the stuff overnight?
Yes, that’s normal. I generally stir mine up to dissolve as much as possible. SWMBO bought me some rubber gloves that go up well past the elbow which are nice from time to time. I’ve never had issues soaking plastic for extended times, I think Jon Herskovits from Five Star said it could be stored almost indefinitely.
I put it in a blender with hot water and stir slowly until dissolved. Always have been frustrated by how much of a pain in the ass it is to get completely dissolved.

I had problems with it not dissolving easily until I started using my kitchen/mash whisk to get the job done. I thought that might be overkill, never thought of putting it in the blender though
I use a drill motor and a stir stick.
