Peach-Ginger mead question

I have a peach ginger mead in secondary about 5 months old.  It has a nice ginger taste/aroma to it but I wish the peach was stronger.  I think it isn’t peachy tasting enough because I used cheap frozen peaches.

If I can find a good quality peach juice, can I add that it to kick up the taste?  And if so, when would I do that?

Try apricots.  Their characteristics are very peach-like and last longer in the bottle.

Fresh peaches taste and smell great but no so much when fermented. I’ve made al lot of peach wine and it is very thin with only a hint of taste or smell.

They make a peach extract but I have never tried it.
