porter infection?

brewed a porter a few weeks ago just moved it to secondary and it looks like there is a fine film on it, my guess infection. is the beer no good ? should i wait it out in secondary which is at 55 degrees? any ideas on if i can save the beer? thanks

How’s it taste?  Don’t make any assumptions until you taste it.

I agree that you cannot judge a beer simply by looking at it.

If it tastes ok, rack it(to a keg would be best if you have the equipment) and leave as much of the film behind as possible. Crash chill, carbonate and drink within a reasonable amount of time until it is gone.

it actually tasted pretty good, its a bells porter clone and the recipie says another 3 weeks in secondary at 55, … so even if its infected im not gonna die
