Liking the first but definitely not the second!
Reminds me of an instruction sheet for assembling something made in Japan: Apparently they were trying to be clever and instead of using the verb ‘screw,’ they found a synonym from an unabridged source. Hilarious!
I had a ball in Japan in the mid 80s. (Though I don’t think Dennys photos are Japanese, looks more korean maybe)
Anyway, when I was there Charlie Brown was all the rage. I found their teenage dating rituals interesting. When I was in school, the girlfriend wore the boyfriend’s letterman jacket. Over there the boyfriend wore the girlfriend’s shoes. Odd to say the least. I remember all the signs in english that were meaningless. My favorite bar was Wacky My Zoo - Happy Happy Fun Bar
Computer parts in the 80s and 90s were all being made in the far east. We quickly learned to only look at the pictures. The “english” translations were equal parts confusing and hilarious. Some were almost pornographic on what to insert where. 8^)
Lucky for us all the parts were, for the most part, identical with the same chips, same ports and same jumpers. You just had to figure out where pin 1 was and you were good.
It’s nice to see the tradition continue.

Man, that’s good stuff. Happiest sounding bar name of all time.
