SafAle T-58 heat tolerance and lifespan

I started my White Ale with SafAle T-58 the fermentation was fierce but suddenly stopped after 24 hours or less. I am not sure why the pail was not overly hot. I got to 72 to 75 at the highest. Has anyone else had this issue before?
