Thought I would revive an old topic since my wife and are heading back to San Diego next month. Any change in people’s top 5/10?
North Park should still be solid. Waypoint Public, Toronado, Tiger Tiger, etc. etc.
Mikkeller is a great little place.
If you’re a home Brewer check out white labs, they usually have beers on tap that showcase diffrent yeast.
Both of those places are in Miramar.
Also check out Bottlecraft (North park or Little Italy). It’s a bottle shop with all kinds of beers on tap. You might even find some things you’ve been looking for.

I’ve only been to one brewery in San Diego (Modern Times Lomaland), but thinking back to the people who showed up to pronight at NHC.
Down in Miramar, near Mikkeler and White Labs, Mike Hess and Alesmith are right next to each other. I’ve always had good stuff from Alesmith, and I remember Mike Hess from NHC and it was pretty good.
St Archer is in that area too. They are MillerCoors, so do with that what you will.
