Starting of Cold Crashing

In two days a 1.054 wort was fermented down to 1.014 using a first repitch of WL001.  I consider this terminal gravity. Are there any reasons for not starting to cold crash now?

That’s only about 73% apparent attenuation and the lower end of that strain’s potential. Depending on wort fermentability that yeast is capable of 80% or more attenuation. By cold crashing you’ll be putting the yeast to sleep, possibly before it’s finished. If you plan on bottle conditioning, you need to verify that it has reached terminal gravity with a second gravity reading in about 3 days. If the gravity hasn’t dropped any further you should be safe to proceed.  Otherwise you’re just asking for bottle bombs.
