Brewed a stout many many months ago… Did not seem to ferment after 1 month still had had a gravity of 1032. Brewed a new batch combined the two still sits at 1032…added a yeast starter and it still sits at 1032… I would like to bottle this beer but Im afraid it will blow the tops off…Alos would like to reuse the yeast for my next ALE… What say you all?
Could you provide some more details. What was your recipe? All-grain, partial mash? OG? Yeast, etc…
All Grain both batches OG around 1050 and 1049 two 5 gallon batches
I think still more information is needed. Yeast type, did you make a starter, fermentation temp, etc.
All in all, I probably wouldn’t reuse the yeast. Just my 2 cents.
