The Pub?

That’s the surprising part. Kind of embarassing on their part. You’ve earned it, Denny.

I hope the banned guy didn’t know his IP address was logged by the forum when he left his posts.

Me too. Know how you feel. I probably would go ask where to pick up my staff pass and if they denied that I’d make sure and ask my class how they are enjoying the event LOL. Maybe a little zinger at the end… if you have any questions after the presentation, I’ll be in my hotel room. All day… alone… bored… drinking bud lite from the honor bar.

In all fairness to the event, I totally get it. They can’t be comping every Tom Dick and Harry that flies in from half way across the country to provide entertainment and education at their event. I mean, if they did that they be giving away like 3 tickets.

C’mon Jim.  Aren’t you a cop?  Rules do not apply.  Maybe that’s a Chicago thing, and in light of recent events maybe that’s not so good.

Delete this if I’m crossing lines.

You’re fine Joe. But if people start PMing me with nonsense I’ll be forwarding them to you. What is off limits is where I work. Cop is generic enough. My boss gets mentioned and it has to be deleted or I have to leave. Generally im not fond of work stuff while not working though, so it works out great for me LOL

And you’re right. I dont do anything the Chicago way

I can’t stand working when I’m home, but the damn cell phone rings some times.

I have to deal with the gubmint every day and it drives me insane.

My schedule must always be adjusted to accommodate theirs.

So apparently, I don’t get the exceptions to the rule.  But I have.  And I enjoyed it when I did.

Dang. Sounds like we need to get a beer, weather permitting.

You will have fun, weather permitting.

I’m working from home right now.  I guess that means my employer is stealing from me.

Think I am glad I was working in the field the last 2 days and did not have much time to be on here. I saw S.'s post last week (?) About not outing anyone, but don’t think I saw any of this. Just as well, doesn’t look like I missed anything I would have wanted to read. Thanks for handling it before it popped up in my unread topics this evening. As I said elsewhere and many others have, S. will be missed greatly

Try working for the gubmint, ha-ha, sad to see Mark leave. I learned a lot from him. So happy that this forum is so focused, concise and drama free though. This forum has really increased my brewing knowledge. Thanks Matt for keeping us civil
