My oldest daughter is back from her chior trip the San Francisco as of 3:20 this morning. She’s fine and had a really great trip. I’m happy to have her home safe and have the whole crew back in the house. Our two college visits with my son went very well and he’s starting to feel more confident in making those decisions.
I’m just happy to have great kids and to be alive to see them grow up.
Just had my annual performance review at work. Today I got a nice fat bonus for 2010 deposited in my bank account. And starting April 4, I am getting a 3.5% raise.
I do believe its time for a pint of Guinness and a Jameson’s on the rocks at my local.
We saw Megamind a couple weeks ago. We’re not six, but we enjoyed it. There’s humor in it for all the generations.
I’m havin’ a beer now because this is the best I’ve felt in a week!
Got a call from my son last night. He shot his first 300 game in tenpin bowling. 40 yrs I never did that. He’s so proud that he beat dad, and dad is very proud also.
My oldes kid made it to the 4 yearo old mark. My youngest made it to the 35 week / 8 Month mark. My wife and
I will make it to the 9 years married mark in April. All beer worthy.
I wish I had a bigger raise comming…I get a penny and hour raise in June.
all of these are great and speak to why homebrewers are so cool. in my case, I had 3 very miserable years professionally before coming to this job, so it felt good talking about it. Babies, retirements, supporting spouses in their journeys, even a day of perfect parking karma… it’s all good!
Congrats! I’m working towards mine but still have 23 years left… Quite honestly not in a hurry. What I’ve seen though is one needs to stay active and have interests. Otherwise the decline in very swift.
