Tommy and I, as computer engineers, may not be that smart, but at least we know the difference between a half adder and a full adder as well as the cost in terms of silicon of a barrel shifter versus a normal shift register.
I do know that but I suspect that may get lost in the shuffle for a lot our graduates. I worked in chip design for Texas Instruments for 17 years. These days most computer engineers, in Huntsville at least, end up in software development albeit often for embedded systems.
Which one of you bastards is responsible for “updates” invariably making everything worse? ;D
