This? On the necks of a Cali common I bottled off a keg about a month ago.
Krausen?
infection?
Gelatin?
Could be any of the above, and most likely nothing to worry about. Could be a slight infection but probably won’t affect flavor unless you age the bottles for a couple years.
That’s what I’m thinking…
Does the beer taste okay?
Something you wouldn’t see in the keg so you wouldn’t worry about it.
Mixed Star San too thick? Might have stuck to the inside of the bottle.
Definitely looks like an infection to me. Ring around the inside of a bottle is a tell tale sign.
Is this in all bottles or just this one?
Have they all be refrigerated for the whole month?
How’s it taste?
No, they have been stored @ cellar temp. I do get a weird slight cardboard flavor that wasn’t present in the keg version.
I also did use gelatin, and yes, it’s on all the bottles I had leftover.
Ectoplasmic residue?
Agreed. Now, who you gonna call?
I thought it was a non-repeating terminal phantasm/Class 5 free-roaming vapor?
yea, but that only happens when the bottle is stored upside down.
