Your Homebrew Name

Almost everybody who homebrews will eventually start naming their beers.  My wife and I named our brand of beers “Bad Bunny Brewing” after the rabbit we got as a wedding gift (I gave starter homebrew kits as grooms men gifts so a reciprocation by naming our beer after our favorite wedding gift seemed seemed appropriate), and all our beer names are rabbit themed with some innuendo thrown in (for example we name a wine I made “Menage Paw” because it came out pretty high in alcohol).

So the question is…what theme do you have for your beers/wine and why?

I call mine “Sharpe Mountain Brewery” because I live on Sharpe Mountain.

Quietree Brewery after the street where our first house was and I started brewing.

I think mine is self explanitory.  ::slight_smile:

Marc,

Did you design that logo yourself?  It’s really good.

4-6-3 Brewing

Big baseball fan. Try to have a baseball theme in all the individual names. Can 'o Corn Cream Ale, RBIpa etc.

weithfisch (pronounced white fish) brewing.  combination of two last names.  still working on labels beer names etc.

The Little Brewery at Poodle Creek.  Because that’s what and where it is!

Lafayette Sucks Brewing Co.

I was going to Lehigh U, in Bethlehem PA when I started brewing, Lafayette was our rival (most played rivalry in college football).  My wife tells me I shouldn’t voluntarily associate the word ‘suck’ with my beer though, so I’m working on a new name, but nothing is really grabbing me.

“Poodle Creek”… snicker

I snicker every time I say it!  When I moved to OR in 1975, I drove by it and said “Who the heck would ever live on a road named that?”  16 years ago, I found out…me!  Terrible name, beautiful place.  I tell people it’s where you go to drown your poodle…sorry, poodle lovers!

LMFAO  Denny, that is way too funny.  Even as a dog lover (I have four, none are poodles though).

“Isles of Langerhans Brewery”

Isles of Langerhans are the part of the pancreas that produces insulin. Mine have been stone dead for many years, so this name is my little joke with myself.
I deserve it for having a hobby that I shouldn’t.

Gato Blanco Brewery, in honor of our mostly white cat.

Individual beers get silly names or references to the beer that inspired them, like Broken Hearted Ale for when Bell’s pulled out of Illinois – thank goodness that didn’t last.

well i happen to have two big ol’ standard poodles. maybe i will incorporate that.  “weithfisch and black poodle brewery”
