In a little over two weeks I will be moderating a talk with Ron Smith, a renowned American Homebrewers Association (AHA) member, Master Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) judge, Certified Cicerone, and International Whiskey Judge on . . . beer travel (it was in the title of the post so probably no surprises here really).
To find out more or register for the event here is the link.
In the meantime I’m willing to entertain any questions you have here or if you can’t join us live feel free to post your Q to get an A during the event, which as always you can check out later in it’s recorded and definitely not live form.
John,
My beer trips have been my very best trips! There’s just something about having a beer in a friendly pub that transcends non-beer travel.
So my question is what places seem to have the best and easiest ways to visit grate breweries and meet great people? Are they places or are there events or celebrations that make these even better?
Not sure if there is time depending on the questions from the audience but I’m definitely interested in discussing the changing landscape if beer travel.
How much of the classic places and events that we’ve come to know or hear about over the last 10, 20, 30 years are in danger of disappearing.
If you have last minute questions feel free to drop them here ahead of time. Or if this is after 6 PM EST on 14 Nov and you have constructive critism, follow-up questions, or something related to discuss I welcome the discourse.
The crowdcast version of yesterday’s Zymurgy Live will only be up for a few more hours so if you want to go see it and read that chat in all it’s glory before it goes away do it now!
Also since that’s my second Zymurgy Live I wouldn’t mind hearing your thoughts on what you think about me or them in general. Did you like the August Zymurgy Live I moderated more or this one? What would you like to see in the future for topics or format?
