I’m really hating Tapatalk since I updated a few weeks ago. I would love it if this forum had its own, simple, app. Just throwing that out there.
Renunciation is not giving up the things of the world, but accepting that all usefulness in Tapatalk goes away.

I don’t have a suggestion nor can I write apps, but I do agree that Tapatalk has turned into total garbage. I almost never use it.
I use it daily and probably would not do a forum without it
But if the AHA forum had a good app I would probably never use tapatalk or look at the other two forums anymore

The HBT application (based on Tapatalk) is useless as well - as you can expect.

The bad thing is Tapatailk used to be great. It made surfing the forum on a small device really simple and easy. Then they decided to make the app “think for you”. I just wanted a simple tool to surf forums with.
I agree it used to be great. Now its awful. Not only is it harder to browse topics now but it crashes all the time. It also arranges buttons on the screen so its easy to accidentally go somewhere else or subscribe to a topic without wanting to.
I thought I was the only one who hated the new Tapatalk! Why does it continue to send me notifications for forums that I do not subscribed to or read?!?!?!
I must be the only person that doesn’t have a problem with it. But I only use it for this forum. I did have to tweak a setting at some point to not receive extra garbage I think.
I don’t have any issues with tapatalk. I use it for ~10 forums.

No problems here. I found that the in house version for that other brewing forum is far more annoying. Doesn’t start the way I prefer to view it and if I post in a thread I automatically favorite the thread and start getting emails after others post.
I’ve never tried tapatalk. I like the idea of having my forums consolidated. Unfortunately, it sounds like it’s pretty broken at this point.
I wouldn’t say that. They did change the UI a bit a few versions back and some people can’t handle change very well…
If you surf the forum by only looking at “new” topics (which are what tapatalk let’s you surf easily) there isn’t a problem. If you prefer to surf the forum by scrolling through topics then it is a huge problem. I don’t need software to think for me, I want it to do what I want it to do.
Sorry…I still don’t get it… If you click the drop down (where the forum title is) you can browse the whole forum…
do you mean by clicking on “web view”? I don’t see a “browse” option in the drop down.
