Good to know the hop harvest is good and they are investing in new processing equipment.
I was there last week at the height of harvest. Loftus Farm, one of the biggest growers/processors there, has more than doubled their capabilities this year. They have a new hop picker (picks the cones off the bines after the bines are harvested) from Germany. One of only 6 in the world and the only one in the US. If you want to see some pics of the harvest, my photos are at http://s794.photobucket.com/user/dennyconn/library/Hop%20Brew%20School%202014?sort=3&page=1
Denny, do you know how tall those plants are? They look 20 feet tall.
Awesome pictures ! I wanna walk through there with a couple buckets.
