I have been thinking; a while back I bought the tri-clamp blow off set-up for my 14.5 gallon Blichmann conical. After making this purchase I realized that I could either use the blow off tube, or my thermowell to monitor fermentation temps with. I got to thinking today about drilling another hole in the center nof the lid for the thermowell to fit in, and use the existing stopper hole for the blow off tube. Has anyone heard of anyone doing this?
