drying out tubing

Does anyone have a tip on fully drying out plastic tubing? Mine always seem to stay wet for a long time and eventually just leave water spots.

I take then outside and gold one end while I twirl the tube around my has as far as I can. gets most of it out. Others use air compressor. Also figure out how to hang them to store.

Hanging uncoiled works for me.

if you gold one end it must be a pretty expensive hose

damn tiny keyboards.

I just hang them on the corner of some shelves.  There happens to be a drain in the basement floor directly below.

I make sure to rinse it in soft water and then StarSan. Seems to keep the spots away, even if I just let it drip dry.

I hang mine as well to store.

I practice my whip techniques.

Do you wear a planting pot on your head and yell “You must whip it!”?

+~

I blast air through mine with a scuba tank.

Has anyone tried CaCl?

Of course. Then my wife yells back, “Whip it good!”

Rinse extremely well immediately after use. Then whip and hang…

THIS^^^^

Me, too.  I’ve done the spinning it over my head thing recently, but it just doesn’t seem necessary.

I hang it all on the end of a set of steel shelves.  Drips out and dries out nicely.

well sure, it’s not necessary but it’s fun!

My neighbors already look at me askance.

Especially when I’m weighing out 4 lb bags of DME on the back porch.  Really, it’s DME.  Nothing going on here.
