I was actually cleaning up around them so I could put down my shredded newspaper mulch (the ones with all the typos). I guess a little hands-and-knees time would have been well worth the effort :

I got to clse to a b aby rabbit a couple summers ago. Actually, didn’t even see it. Man, I felt so bad. Didn’t kill the poor little guy, so I took it to the vet to finish him off. I just did not have the heart to do it myself. Buried him in my backyard, and erected a nice little tombstone for him. Man that day sucked!
